Dept Units - Longreach
The Department of Housing recently received the keys to 6 newly constructed units in Longreach. And OIL was approached throughout the process to ascertain if we had members who suited this type of accommodation.
The units have:
2 bedroom
1 bathroom
an undercover car park
fully fenced
The units are staggered on the block in a good design so that you don’t feel on top neighbours.
3 of the units have access ramps, however they would require some modifications to reach full disability /wheelchair standards, such as in the kitchen.
They are well designed and felt ready to become someone’s home asap.
