Support Coordination
Support Coordinators help NDIS participants or their plan nominee with a range of different things. They can provide support once participants have received aindividualised-living-option-xtcel successful request, and can be part of the initial plan meeting, including setting plan goals.
Individualised Living Option
There are many ways the NDIS can support your choice of living arrangements. One of these is an ILO, or Individualised Living Option. ILO happens in a home of your chossing. It might be with a host or with house mates.
STA or Respite
Short Term Accommodation funding can be used for respite to support you and your carers. This gives your carers a short break from their caring role.
NDIS Home and Living Supports
The NDIA is collaborating with participants and the sector to co-design a new home and living policy. While they focus on long-term solutions, they are implementing interim measures to enhance the participant and provider experience, including updating guidelines and improving engagement.
